The body is made to move, so it’s important that your chair allows movement, adjustability and keeps you within function of the tasks required. We always specify chairs that promote good posture for any application, but also offer a range of specialist ergonomic posture chairs and support aids for specific occupational health requirements. Featured here are examples that are available for demonstration in our Showcase.
Many chairs are described as ‘ergonomic’ but we will only ever specify top end posture chairs with the following key features as a minimum standard:
- Chair back that promotes the natural ‘S’ shape of the spinal column
- Neck and head support for taller users or where support is required
- Adjustable lumbar support
- Fully adjustable arm rests
- Independent seat back tilt
- Memory foam for individual comfort
- Seat slide adjustment
- Foot rest requirements and monitor arms
